Free Wellbeing Festival

On Saturday 8th September, Blaby is joining with a worldwide celebration, called The Festival of Life and Death. This festival is all about helping people to feel connected to their own community and keep their brain healthy and active. There will be something for everyone to enjoy on the day, from 10am-7pm, all across Blaby village and all ABSOLUTELY FREE

Northfield park: Will have loads of fun family activities inc a Drumming circle, Smoothie maker bike, Skipping Henry, arts & dance performances, exercise demos, face painting & icecream
Blaby Library: Kids story, lego and craft sessions, rock painting
Fox and Tiger: Scrummy feel good food, Rock & Roll
Drop in centre: Breakfast, line dancing
Horses for Causes: Free sessions with therapy horses 
Mindfulness House: Try your hand at baking bread, tai chi or mindfulness sessions
Civic centre: Need someone to talk to? Counsellors, drug and alcohol advice, lived experience talks about mental health recovery, talk table & alternative therapies
Social centre: Dance groups, bands, choirs, comedians and spoken word artists performing from 2pm-7pm in the hall & homemade cakes
